The price of a product can be overridden by a sales person if the price is incorrect or the price has a zero price. When the price of the product being overridden is a 'Stocked' product, the salesperson will be prompted with a 'Price Override Reasons' screen to enter a price override reason and a note describing the reason for changing the price. This screen will not be prompted for Non-stocked products such as Gift Vouchers.
1. Change the price of a 'Stocked' product and press enter or tab out of the price field.
2. Select a reason using the mouse or the Arrow <é>, <ê> .
3. Enter a note describing the price change. It is mandatory for notes to be entered. When notes are not entered, the following will be raised.
4. When the 'Price Override Reason' is canceled, the price will change back to the original price.
