Stock reservation feature has two purposes:
- Capture record of a customer reservation of items - a requirement for an item or putting aside an item for the customer to return to later
- From version 2025.1, there are different types of reservations possible; a reservation is a method of removing items from free stock so they don't know as available stock for online / FTD ordering
The stock reservation process should be completed where
the customer is picking the stock from or the stock is being removed from "free stock".
